Meet Joseph Butler

Thank you for visiting Avalon NJ Real Estate. My name is Joe Butler and I am a Licensed Real Estate agent, a Realtor, for Purdy Real Estate in Beautiful Avalon New Jersey. I have been selling Real Estate for 21 years here on the Seven Mile Island and have been a year round resident for 23 years.

Prior to my career as a Realtor in Avalon NJ and Stone Harbor NJ, I worked as a commercial fisherman. Just like the T.V. show. It was a fun adventurous job but very tough work. Year after year it wins the one contest no profession should ever strive to win. The most dangerous job in the world. After being knocked over board, nearly sinking in twenty foot seas, watching windows on the boat get blown out by huge waves, and amputating two fingers, I decided I needed to find a safer line of work. To the thrill of my awesome wife Kim I became a Real Estate Agent at Purdy Real Estate in Avalon.
