Thank you for visiting Avalon NJ Real Estate. My name is Joe Butler and I am a Licensed Real Estate agent, a Real Estate Agent, for Purdy Real Estate in Beautiful Avalon New Jersey. I have been selling Real Estate for 23 years here on the Seven Mile Island and have been a year round resident for 30 years.
 
Prior to my career as a Real Estate Agent in Avalon NJ and Stone Harbor NJ, I worked as a commercial fisherman. Just like the T.V. show. It was a fun adventurous job but very tough work. Year after year it wins the one contest no profession should ever strive to win. The most dangerous job in the world. After being knocked over board, nearly sinking in twenty foot seas, watching windows on the boat get blown out by huge waves, and amputating two fingers, I decided I needed to find a safer line of work. To the thrill of my awesome wife Kim I became a Real Estate Agent at Purdy Real Estate in Avalon.
 
Being a Real Estate Agent on the seven mile Island is very rewarding. I get to see so many friends enjoy their homes day after day, watch their families grow, and most of all make new friends year after year. The smiles and memories that are made in Avalon and Stone Harbor are as priceless as the people enjoying them and I couldn’t ask for a better place to live.
